Álvaro Obregón

A slender, 7-story building on Álvaro Obregón avenue, in the Roma neighbourhood of Mexico City. Along with the project on the adjacent terrain, it will hold a development that will bring new value to the area and will surely become a landmark in the future.

Because of its advanced state of disrepair, the existing structure couldn’t be salvaged. However, the design of the new façade will be respectful and make reference to previous heights and wall measures, as well as to the adjacent project, which is a house officially registered as a heritage building in Mexico City. In the interior, both were given a central courtyard that will provide light, ventilation and a common central foyer, lined with arrayanes that will give the space life and shade.
